What should we stop asking AI to do?

What I used to believe. I thought the central challenge was getting AI to perform more tasks reliably.

What changed my mind. I watched organizations build a chatbot instead of building a capability. They added an interface, but did not change how information, authority, and decisions flow through the organization.

Where I stand today. I am less interested in what AI can do instead of a person. I am more interested in what an organization must make accessible so that people and AI can act together.

What still does not sit right with me. How do we preserve human accountability without turning “human in the loop” into an empty ritual?
