Curiosity

Looking back, I keep returning to the same pattern.

I'm drawn to things that are hard to explain.

Once, it was a melody.

Then, an organization managing risk — Hippo, Choco, Facio.

Then, artificial intelligence — taking models apart until people stopped being afraid of them.

Then, standing in front of students, showing them how a machine sees the world.

And then a song that waited twenty years in a drawer — Rachok Mikan — until its time finally came.

Every time, I find myself trying to do the same thing: take something complex, and help someone else feel they understand it a little better.

I've never really been interested in choosing between technology and art.

I've always been interested in understanding people.
